Pokédolls- the ever-popular plush line introduced by the Pokémon Center store chain. Originating in 2001 as PlushPlush, they are based on the in-game plush pokémon you could buy. Featuring chibified features, they are utterly adorable, and are quite popular. There are approximately nine Pokémon Center stores in Japan, and two Pokémon Center kiosks in two malls in Washington. Pokédolls may also be purchased in the upper floor of Nintendo World in NYC, and formerly, at EPCOT at Disney World. The older plush were also available on the original Pokémon Center website, which closed circa. February 1st, 2008. The site reopened in August of 2014, making these adorable, and highly sought after plush widely available once again. Most designs have a fairly limited run, and as such, some are worth over $100 (shiny beast trio lotto, natu, houndour, shadow lugia, etc.).
